Welcome to Toluma Farms.
We are a Marin County (Tomales) family owned Grade A dairy and organic farm. Just twenty minutes west of Petaluma, the town of Tomales is a unique coastal community nestled above Marshall and the Tomales Bay estuary and is the gateway to Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay. We are developing a line of fine artisan hand crafted goat cheeses. In addition we supply goat milk to Redwood Hill Farms of Sonoma County. An interesting fact about goat milk is that worldwide, more people drink goat's milk than cow's milk. Our goat’s milk, like any good goat’s milk, has a delicious slightly sweet taste. The goats are milked twice a day and produce a gallon of milk each day which translates into one pound of cheese. We are proud to say that we can identify every one of our 170 goats by name. Our goats are comprised of Nubians, Saanens, Alpines, La Manchas and Oberhaslis.

Toluma Farms is committed to educating urban youth who might not have an opportunity to see where their food comes from. On the first Sunday of every month we offer tours of our goat dairy operation and organic farm from 11am - 12pm as well as camping trips during the summer months. Please email to sign up.
